10 WHAT IF…? Comics Marvel Needs To Adapt For Season 2

8. What If... Spider-Man Joined The Fantastic Four

With no release dates currently set for either Fantastic Four, or for What If...? season two, there is no guarantee which project will see the light of day next. However, it is widely believed that Marvel's First Family will come to the MCU in 2023 or 2024, and with season two of What If...? set to feature stories based around Phase Four, there is every chance we could see a Fantastic Four episode.

Should that be the case, why not a crossover between Reed, Sue, Johnny, and Ben, and Peter Parker. Bringing together two of the most popular Marvel properties would surely make for a fantastic episode of the series.

Coming off the back of being wanted by the police, Spider-Man joins the Fantastic Four to make the Fantastic Five, and to try and make himself a better living. With the MCU world now painfully aware of Peter's true identity, this 'what if' scenario could take place if he went to the Fantastic Four for help instead of Doctor Strange.

Not to mention that the first villain the new fivesome take on is the Vulture, and any excuse to bring Michael Keaton's Adrian Toomes back into the franchise would be a welcome one.
