10 Worst Doctor Who Episodes Of All Time
4. Sleep No More
The term 'it was hard to watch' has never been as appropriate as it is with this stinker, the truly unwatchable 9th episode of Peter Capaldi's 2nd series as the Doctor. For reasons only known to the Producers, the episode is shot in a 'shaky cam found footage' style that quite literally strains the eyes.
The found footage format was well past its used by date by the time this episode's production in 2015, but even still, the quality of the cinematography and editing is dreadful. It's hard to make out exactly what is going on, although that may have been for the better considering the dreadful plot.
You know the writers have completely run out of ideas when the big bad is 'the sleep in your eyes'. Yes, you heard me, the goobers from your eye sockets have come alive and are eating people. Sigh.
Hilariously, the writer for this junk, Mark Gatiss, intended on writing a sequel to this disaster. One can only assume that the new episode would have seen our sweat or earwax spring up and destroy the Earth as all Humans quickly took a bath and inserted ear drops to stop the oncoming threat.
