10 Worst Family Guy Episodes

Family Guy is a gross show, that's never been up for debate. Yet, even for a series that prides itself on crudeness, there is still a line, and this episode crossed it.

"Stewie Is Enceinte" blends one bland concept with an unforgivable one. The inoffensive one shows as Peter and his friends try to "go viral". The other is a bizarre story where Stewie gets himself pregnant with Brian's babies. Which is just as awful as it sounds.

The viral narrative is full of uninspired and forced cultural jokes, but it's the Stewie/Brian plot that brings this it down. The image of Stewie birthing hybrid dog/human babies is grim and stinks of an episode that only exists to shock the audience.

Although he might be an evil mastermind, Stewie is still one of the show's last likeable characters. However, this episode does everything in its power to ruin that, as his decision to trap Brian in parenthood (which we already know he struggles with) and essentially torture him is diabolical.

Sometimes you've got to wonder if the writing staff need someone to tell them when to chill out.
