Zach Braff makes his long-awaited return to the sitcom realm with this...utterly benign, bland and eye-rollingly cliched network "comedy".

Alex, Inc., based on Alex Blumberg's real-life founding of the podcast network Gimlet Media, sees Braff's Alex Schuman quitting his job and starting his own podcast company while also attempting to juggle a normal family life.

Whether you're a desperate Scrubs fan craving some more Braff or just in the market for a wholesome-yet-smart sitcom, this show patently fails to deliver. Soullessly schmaltzy while failing to make Blumberg particularly likeable or interesting, this is barrel-scrapingly desperate TV that was cancelled before its final episode even aired.
