11 Iconic TV Shows That Should NEVER Be Revived

11. Scrubs

At this point, a revival for Scrubs seems more a matter of if rather than when. Though the series ended (almost) perfectly 10 years ago, 2019 has seen a bunch of stars and creator Bill Lawrence express interest in doing something Scrubs-related, even if it's just a one-off.

While that enthusiasm is a good thing - you never want a show to return unless the original talent really wants to come back - it's just as important to know when to leave well enough alone. Though Season 9 of Scrubs saw a couple of actors return to ease viewers into a new cast (that didn't last), it was enough to shake the perfect ending of Season 8, which acted as a heartfelt final note to the whole show.

Consequently, returning now 10 years later after almost botching it once, the writers would have to fight to make a continuation feel like more than just a pointless epilogue. It's not that the return would be bad - it would no doubt be just as charming as it was before - it's that there's no way to top the note the original run went out on, so why drudge up the show's corpse for anything less?
