11 Netflix Marvel Performances The MCU Needs To Save

2. Daredevil (Charlie Cox)

Let's make the analogy real simple to understand: Robert Downey Jr was Tony Stark and Charlie Cox was Matt Murdock.

To gain some perspective on the dimensions of this character, you have to remember that Daredevil was blind, a tireless bruiser, and also a mild-mannered attorney. To take all of these separate character traits and combine them into one beautifully human persona takes some skill. That is why Charlie Cox took the part, made it is own, and then some.

Whether he was wearing the red mask, the black bandanna, or suiting up and fooling the narrow-minded into believing that his disability was a weakness, Cox brought Matt Murdock/Daredevil to life with a passion more deserving than the confines of four mere TV seasons. If the MCU ever bring Daredevil into the bigger universe, and they really really should, they can either waste time and resources looking for the next big thing, or they can utilise the much-loved Devil of Hell's Kitchen as he's known today.

The whole Netflix Marvel tenure began with this moment, and deserves to be carried forward into the next chapter. Don't pass up on the chance!
