11 Simple Fixes That Would Have Saved Marvel's Iron Fist

6. Introduce Davos Earlier

Another of the show's stronger characters is Davos, Danny's friend from K'un-Lun who witnessed him become the Iron Fist.

He arrives to try and convince Danny to return to K'un-Lun, because he's shirking his duties, helps him fight the Hand, tries pizza for the first time and doesn't hate it, and then makes a big heel at the end.

Ok, so it's essentially the same arc as Mordo in Doctor Strange (but with added cheese), yet thanks to the performance of Sacha Dhawan and the lacklustre writing of Danny, it still manages to stand out, even if it is a little rushed.

He doesn't appear until episode 9, by which time the chance for him to develop and have a major impact is diminished. They could've brought him in a lot earlier, which in turn would've helped sell some inner conflict within Danny about his role as the Iron Fist (not something it bothers with too much until the end), painted an interesting contrast between the duo, and better established the animosity between them.
