A picture of two chairs isn't exactly anything to write home about but when those chairs sport the names of Peter Capaldi and Jenna Coleman, things get a tad more exciting. This picture has just been taken in Cardiff as production on Series 9 has officially commenced on a creepy two-parter - billed as "one of the scariest adventures yet" - which is written by Toby Whithouse and directed by Daniel OHara. Not much else is known about what lies in store for the Twelfth Doctor and Clara Oswald in the new series and unfortunately fans will have to wait until the autumn to find out. It'll be here before you know it, though. Promise.
