2. Miami (Dexter)
The Miami shown in Dexter is much like our own except with, perhaps, a few less rollerbladers and a few more sociopaths. The main attractions here are admittedly the murder spots: it's like the Ripper tour in Whitechapel, London, just that little bit... fresher. There's the Seven Season Motel where the
first exsanguinated victim of the Ice Truck Killer was found in the drained pool or the Marina View Hotel where it seems most of the blood turned up. If you're looking for something a bit more occult, there's even the street corner where they found the Ice Truck Killer's truck (seriously, someone's gone to the trouble of tracking down
all these locations in real life). If all that gives you an appetite - and why wouldn't it? - there are a multitude of places you can grab a bite to eat: Loco's Crab Shack, The Gazebo, Juan's Hot Dog Stand. You might even bump to Miami PD's premier blood work specialist who it seems has a taste for Cuban pork sandwiches. Btw, you might want to pay a visit down to the docks, check out a few of those shipping containers - who knows what you might find. One thing you can say about Dexter's Miami is there's always something to do!
