Moments away from committing suicide, Phil Miller discovers another living person. Even better, that person is a woman. He finds a bra as evidence of her sex and then faints when he first hears her voice. Phil dreams of what the woman might look like but then seems upset when awoken to the reality. Carol Pilbasian (Kristen Schaal) then becomes spooked of Phil and in the closest moment resembling any hint of violence on this quirky apocalyptic show, she pulls a gun on him. Attempting to calm the situation Carol asks Phil if he's a nice person, to which he responds by telling her that she has nothing to be afraid of. "Nothing of which to be afraid!"
