11. Brian Cox - The Game
You know him from: Troy (2004), The Bourne Identity (2002), Braveheart (1995) Heavyweight Scottish thespian Brian Cox is a stalwart of British theatre, turning out regularly for the Royal Shakespeare Company and the National Theatre over the course of the 1980s and 1990s. He became the first actor to portray the iconic Hannibal Lector on film in 1986's Manhunter. Cox will be on TV this year in the BBC spy thriller The Game, written by Toby Whithouse and directed by Niall MacCormick. The six-part, hour-long series is set during the Cold War period and will see Cox play a character code-named Daddy, who is the head of MI5. Daddy and his fellow spooks are investigating a Soviet plot code-named Operation Glass. The Game co-stars Tom Hughes, Paul Ritter and Victoria Hamilton.
