12 Most Powerful Superhero TV Show Villains Of All Time

4. Trigon - Teen Titans

Another one of DC’s beloved line of animated shows, the Teen Titans were adored by fans of all ages. The quirky, upbeat overtones, complimented perfectly by the emotionally-charged action, made for an incredible viewing experience.

Serving as one of the main overarching villains to the heroes is Trigon, and as far as villains go, you can’t do much worse than the literal devil himself. Raven’s Demon Daddy had been waiting in the shadows, carefully plotting his escape from the hellish realm that he’s confined too. And after some help from Deathstroke, Trigon is able to obtain the final piece of his escape puzzle: Raven.

Once he is out, Trigon lives up to every ounce of the build up. He alters the face of the world without breaking a fiery sweat, nearly annihilating the Titans in the process.

It was not just his physical destruction but also the mental one that made him such a powerful villain though. He kept up the psychological torture on Raven all throughout his story, eventually destroying her altogether, sort of.

In the end, it took everything in the Titans’ arsenal, an unlikely ally, and the second coming of Raven to bring the world back from the edge of destruction.
