12 Terrible TV Shows That Should Definitely Be Cancelled In 2014

11. The Tomorrow People

This is a new show which is so derivative that it's laughable. Admittedly, it's a remake of a much older British show of the same name, but there's no great mystery as to why it's been resurrected now amid the comic book movie boom. The Tomorrow People is about impossibly good-looking teens with superpowers caused by a genetic mutation who fear persecution and are hunted by a private organisation which wants to do experiments on them. It is the CW's X-Men. The main issue with The Tomorrow People is its unlikeable protagonist, Stephen, who does nothing other than get into irritating love triangles and make stupid decisions. It's a shame because Luke Mitchell is compelling and charismatic as Stephen's rival John and Mark Pellegrino is clearly enjoying playing the villainous Jedikiah, but Robbie Amell is fighting a losing battle trying to make Stephen sympathetic. Peyton List's indecisive Cara is similarly grating. The show won't kill Stephen off, so barring a very last-minute improvement, the CW should cut its losses now and opt for cancellation. Hopefully the cast can go on to bigger and better things.

Grace Murray hasn't written a bio just yet, but if they had... it would appear here.
