12 Times BoJack Horseman Was A TERRIBLE Friend

At the beginning of the series, BoJack Horseman and Diane Nguyen were simply acquaintances in a professional capacity. They had met each other years before at one of BoJack's Halloween parties, but he was pre-occupied with a phone call and likely didn't remember her in the slightest.

At first, once she started interviewing him for the book she was writing, BoJack believed Diane was too normal, but once he saw how she interacted with her family, he realised she was just damaged enough for him to start to like her.

With a friendship soon blossoming, feelings started to go deeper for BoJack, and he began to think of Diane on more of a romantic level. He even stole the Hollywood 'D' for her. Unfortunately, these feelings weren't reciprocated by Diane, but this didn't stop him from trying to kiss her.

He knew she wasn't interested, he knew she was happy in her relationship with Mr. Peanutbutter, and he was supposed to be her friend, but still he managed to ruin that friendship by doing something stupid. Their relationship was never really the same after this moment, BoJack had made it just too weird.
