12 TV Shows You Won't Believe Are 10 Years Old In 2015

2. Criminal Minds

Most programmes involving FBI agents tend to do well, but Criminal Minds is based in the Bureau's Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU) in Quantico, Virignia, and helps analyse how and why violent criminals commit the acts that they do. What makes the show unique, however, is that it focuses on the criminal and their mindset - rather than necessarily the crime itself, as most violent dramas do. Aaron Hotchner (Thomas Gibson), Derek Morgan (Shemar Moore), Dr. Spencer Reid (Matthew Gray Gubler), Jennifer "JJ" Jareau (A.J. Cook) et al attempt to anticipate the next move that America's most-dangerous criminal minds are likely to make before they kill again in a show that is both addictive and intriguing - almost baiting viewers to try and second-guess what is likely to happen before an episode reaches its climax. There have been 222 episodes to date - with another eight still to be broadcast in Season 10 - and countless criminal minds apprehended before, or sometimes even after, they have committed serial violent offences. Due to the originality of the premise for the show, Criminal Minds is likely to run for a little while longer yet.
