Far from being as utterly unwatchable as many of the entries on this list, at times Glee creator Ryan Murphy's starry miniseries Hollywood is outright delightful.

The sun hits it just right and this campy tribute to the golden age of cinema is a funny, fast paced joy to watch...

Then, as tends to be the case with almost all Ryan Murphy projects, the shows manages to waste all that audience goodwill, not to mention a superb cast including a finally free from the Big Bang Theory Jim Parsons, Darren Criss, and newcomer Samara Weaving, with this swing-and-miss show's melodramatic closing half whose convoluted plot goes off the rails.
