12 Worst TV Shows Of 2020 So Far
6. Council of Dads
This mawkish misfire seems written for those who found the Disney Channel's Good Luck Charlie too cerebral (never getting over the fact that this sentimental series simply stole the latter's entire premise).
Council of Dads follows a group of blokes tasked with raising their dying buddy's baby together, resulting in all sorts of hijinks, shenanigans, and eventually all manner of hugging and learning too, as the unconventional pack realize maybe this fatherhood thing is what it's all about after all, just as Steve Guttenberg, Tom Selleck, and Ted Danson realize they should sue for copyright infringement.
That and the Good Luck Charlie cracks are of course, jokes. The show's premise is actually lifted verbatim from a Bojack Horseman bit wherein "there's eight of you, and you're all her dad, and you each have your own cute little thing".
Netflix should have sued.
