13 CW Actors Who Deserve An Emmy Nomination
7. Eliza Taylor - The 100
To say that Eliza Taylor has been responsible for portraying one of the most significant (and genuinely strongest) character developments on the network would be a major understatement.
In leading The 100 over the past five years, she has successfully managed to turn Clarke Griffin from an idealistic teenager excited at the thought of returning home to her planet into a battle-worn warrior, hardened by the grit of what's left on the ground, that isn't afraid to be ruthless when necessary.
However, she perhaps saved her best for the show's sixth season, effortlessly bringing all of this together to relay Clarke's emotional turmoil as she struggled with her inner demons and ultimately attempted to reconcile the darkness with what was left of the light. In doing so, she was nothing short of captivating.
Taylor is no stranger to turning in powerhouse performances, as she was doing it on Australian soap Neighbours long before she joined The 100, but if her recent performances are anything to go by, she's going to continue to impress for many more years to come.
So, can we just honour her now and be done with it? In all honesty, it's long overdue at this point.
