Even though it's hard to pick out the 'most shocking moment' in a season that was full of shocks, that title has to go to the moment in which we learned that the person responsible for Bryce's death was Alex Standall. But upon watching those events unfold, it soon became clear that we should have suspected the character all along.

Alex has always been one of 13 Reasons Why's most troubled characters as, in the space of three seasons, he has been unable to overcome the guilt he felt over Hannah's death. Furthermore, everything that has since developed as a result of it, including his own attempted suicide, has had an adverse effect on everyone he loves. And, as we all found out in the Season 3 finale, he blamed Bryce on all of it.

In spite of all that, he still killed someone and, even though his friends and father managed to protect him, it's clear that committing such an unretractable act is already weighing on him. Of course, having witnessed it, Jessica is in this with him - as is everyone he loves - but we have all been left wondering just how he will cope with the aftermath of Bryce's death.

Will those troubles continue to bother him now that Bryce is gone, or will the realization of what happened only make things worse?
