15 Actors Who Have Been In Doctor Who More Than Once
15. Julian Glover
Veteran actor Julian Glover has starred in many famous franchises, from the villain in the third Indiana Jones movie to an Imperial commander in The Empire Strikes back and a Bond baddie in For Your Eyes Only. Now he can be seen bumbling about in King's Landing in Game of Thrones as Maester Pycelle. He's also played two memorable roles in Doctor Who. In 1965 he starred as Richard the Lionheart in The Crusade. In a quality script by David Whitaker, Glover gives a great performance, along with Jean Marsh who played his sister Joanna. Glover also played Scaroth, one of the mot notable villains of the later Tom Baker era in City of Death, regarded as one of the best classic serials and the highest rated (there was a blackout on ITV). Glover gives a deliciously light turn as the alien who has been fragmented throughout time in Douglas Adams's witty script. He even remains classy when wearing a giant green pasta head with one eye.
