15 Amazing Guest Appearances On Bojack Horseman

9. Daniel Radcliffe - Himself

BoJack Horseman Mr Peanutbutter

The Boy Wizard himself made an appearance midway through the second season competing against Bojack in a celebrity gameshow conceived by a resurrected J.D Salinger.

While it’s not the first time Daniel has portrayed a comedic version of himself (see Extras), this appearance toys less with Daniel’s issues with being typecast as a magical child actor, and more about him coming off as obnoxious and condescending.

We can only imagine Daniel was having the time of his life in the recording booth as he verbally sparred with the bitter titular horse. Daniel leans well into role of a patronising man-child, confusing Bojack as a desperate up-and-coming actor, and delivers his glee so brilliantly as he literally snatches fistfuls of cash while Bojack writes an essay.

Daniel’s rivalry with Bojack escalates to the hilarious finale where Bojack deliberately allows millions of dollars intended for charity to plummet into a pit of fire by spitefully confusing Radcliffe with Elijah Wood.

While the audience (and Daniel) are shocked by Bojack’s decision, he smiles proudly at his very questionable personal victory.

I overthink a lot of things. Will talk about pretty much anything for a great length of time. I'm obsessed with General Slocum from the 2002 Spider-Man film. I have questions that were never answered in that entire trilogy!
