15 Anime To Binge After Attack On Titan Ends

6. Hellsing Ultimate

Demon Slayer
Geneon

Everyone knows the story of Van Hellsing. The name often conjures up images of gothic towers, crosses and melodrama. However, this anime paints the iconic character in a very different shade, that being a deep blood red. It's a nonstop thrill ride and definitely one for the action fans.

In this world, Hellsing is an organisation led by *deep breath* Integra Fairbrook Wingates Hellsing, the last member of the Hellsing family line. This military unit battles against the dark forces that go bump in the night and possesses a powerful trump card in Alucard, a vampire who works against his own kind.

The manga was first adapted in 2001 and showed that the series had promise. But, some lacklustre animation and the addition of filler arcs made it fall flat. Luckily, Hellsing Ultimate stepped in and brought with it some kickass VFX, a more faithful adaptation and 50-minute-long episodes.

Overall, it's a total adrenaline ride. There's a polish to the action that makes it feel heavy and meaningful. Plus, the longer episodes make it stand out among the rest of the anime crowd, giving you plenty of meat to chew on.
