While it might seem a little insane to run away from home because you don't want to go to the dentist, or take off into the woods to find your lost parents (one of whom has raw fish poisoning), it seems only right to continue with your plan even when disaster strikes. If you ever need to learn some persistence skills, each and everyone of the Belcher family should be an equally good role model for you. Especially Louise; that rage she has, and that love for money? They get her through every time.
