15 Small Details You Only Notice Rewatching Star Wars: The Clone Wars

4. The Indiana Jones References

Paying homage to the one and only Harrison Ford, aka Han Solo, The Clone Wars features numerous references to the actor's other cinematic icon, archaeologist and adventurer Indiana Jones.

For example, there's a scene in which bounty hunter Cad Bane can be seen looking for a new hat, and dusts off a fedora which bares a striking resemblance to the one worn by Jones. There's also a moment when Mace Windu leaps through a closing door and grabs his lightsaber before it can close, referencing Indy always saving his hat at the last second.

In the episode "Liberty on Ryloth," eagle-eyed viewers can spot droids loading up a crate which shares its design with the Ark of the Covenant from Raiders of the Lost Ark. This is double fun because in the film, the Ark bares markings of C-3PO and R2-D2, meaning both franchises have crossed over within each other.

In a more direct reference to Harrison Ford himself, Captain Rex bares a scar on his chin just like the actor.
