15 Times Rick And Morty Was The Best Show On Television

At the end of the first episode, Rick pretty much breaks the fourth wall and goes on an insane rant about the future of this series. He tells Morty that they're gonna have all sorts of adventures together forever and ever. "It's just Rick and Morty! Forever and a hundred years!" It's as if he's excited about the idea that this is the first episode of a series that will be on the air for years and years. 

Like a lot of the show's best moments, this insane monologue feels totally loose, like Justin Roiland was told to just improvise Rick ranting for 60 seconds and this was the result. And as a great cap to an episode that shows the horrible influence of Rick on Morty, all the while Rick is talking, Morty is wriggling on the ground is pain. 

Community has "six seasons and a movie," and now Rick and Morty has "Rick and Morty forever and a hundred years!"
