15 Times Rick And Morty Was The Best Show On Television

How many times have you seen the storyline of some sort of creepy dude selling antique items that actually have twisted side effects? This episode matches that against a guy like Rick who has seen it all before and just walks right into the store pointing out all the Devil's tricks.

There's a microscope that would lower the IQ of whoever uses it, an aftershave that makes women want you but also makes you impotent, and beauty cream that makes you pretty but also blind. Yet absolutely nobody but Rick sees that coming, and when the guy says that people don't pay with money here, nobody finds that suspicious at all.

Rick even name drops The Twilight Zone, as this whole "deal with the Devil" thing was the subject of several different Twilight Zone episodes. Harmon and Roiland poke fun at how ridiculous it is for nobody to find anything suspicious about this shop coming out of nowhere owned by a sinister looking guy who only ever speaks in riddles, and with Rick being fully aware of that, they take the storyline to some pretty hilarious places.
