15 TV Seasons That Are Totally Flawless
4. Buffy The Vampire Slayer - Season Three
Buffy the Vampire Slayer had a complicated run, characterised by some of the best TV seasons of the 90s, and some of the worst. Because, y'know, balance is important.
Seasons one, two, four, five, six and seven are all mostly good, with some major blips here and there, but season three, taking place in Buffy and the gang's final year of high school, saw the show peak in a way it could never really keep up with over the next few years.
Buffy's third year follows the legendary Slayer as she and her friends face off with their town's demonic Mayor, whilst rogue Slayer Faith Lehane barrels into their lives on a one way trip to the dark side.
An exceptionally dark journey into teenage drama and the hardships of Buffy's unwanted destiny, the season balances everything that made the show such a hit, from the witty humour, genuine scares, romance and wildly affecting personal dramas. It's a great ride, and the best Buffy has ever been.
