Portrayed as Satans on again/off again lover in both the movie and the series, Saddam Hussein has had a large part to play in many of the shows story lines. Despite his nasily voice and perverted nature, not to mention his real world atrocities, Saddam actually ends up being a fan favourite time and time again in polls largely down to his hilarious, manipulative nature.
He is able to somehow dupe both Satan and God to points of almost catastrophic danger to the earth, and yet also manages to return to earth after all of that with no explanation at all. Regardless of this fact, also that he's manipulative, sadistic, disgusting, and frankly annoying, he provides countless laughs time and time again in each and every episode in which he's featured.
It turns out that a tyrannical dictator who every body hates in unison can be thoroughly appreciated in some strange contexts.
