16. "Lucky Leon" - Lois & Clark: The New Adventures Of Superman
The on-again, off-again relationship between Clark and Lois in the aptly-named "Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman" was the source of the show's success during the 1990s. Though it had its shares of ups and downs, Lois and Clark is still an impressive attempt at the Man of Steel on a TV budget.
In "Lucky Leon", Clark and Lois attempt to go on their first date, but find that it isn't as easy as they'd like it to be after it's interrupted by a murder plot. But perhaps where "Lucky Leon" pays off the most is its conclusion to the ongoing storyline between district attorney Mayson Drake, played by Farrah Forke, and Clark Kent.
Mayson liked Clark, but had no love for Superman. This dichotomy created a fascinating storyline, one which ran through most of the show's second season. "Lucky Leon" ends with Mayson's death, as her car is rigged with a bomb.
Upon discovering that Clark has been Superman this entire time, Mayson whispers the word "resurrection" to him. This set off an entirely new storyline, which made Lois and Clark feel more like a comic book come to life than ever.
