20 DC Characters Who Could Yet Appear In Arrow And The Flash

Yes, Jonathan Crane is primarily a Batman villain, but that didn’t stop Ra’s al Ghul being the ‘big bad’ of Arrow’s Season 3.

When it was revealed that Season 3 was to feature a rogue who used chemicals to bring out the fear in his victims, many presumed that the Scarecrow could very well be making his way to Starling City. As it happened, it ended up being a new version of Count Vertigo, as played excellently by Peter Stormare.

Looking at the likes of the two Counts, not to mention Season 2’s twisted Brother Blood, it seems that Arrow has already pulled many elements from the Scarecrow character.

As Scarecrow, or simply even as Jonathan Crane, there’s a lot that can be done with this villain should either Arrow or The Flash choose to do so. And whether he appears of not, you’d have to believe that he would be more suited to the darker streets of Starling City rather than Central City, though.
