Celebrities get tonnes of gifts. Along with all the cool swag they get for free from clothing and tech companies eager to have their brand associated with a famous person, they'll also receive sacks and sacks of correspondence from fans (along with bulging email boxes), containing everything from heart felt notes to somewhat terrifying renderings of themselves done in macaroni. The best gifts to get from fans aren't the mildly upsetting ones, or the letters, though as Ringo Starr will tell you, The Beatles drummer having long since given up on even receiving the stuff, warning his fans with peace and love which seems like a contradiction in terms are the one of a kind, unique creative kind. In which case Tatiana Maslany has the best fans, since at San Diego Comic-Con the star unveiled a particularly inventive and genius present that BBC America's merchandising people should get on in a heartbeat: Clone Russian Dolls! Inside each of the wooden renderings of one of her characters, there's another nested, and then another, and so on. That's pretty genius. And now you can buy your own on Etsy, because of course you can.
