2. David Benioff And D.B. Weiss Wrote An Episode

Worlds collided on the set of season nine of It's Always Sunny when Game Of Thrones writers and show runners D.B. Weiss and David Benioff came on board to write an episode of the show. Benioff and Weiss are huge fans of the show and thought that writing and directing an episode would be a creative challenge and a nice change of pace them. The episode they wrote was called Flowers For Charlie and was a take off of the book Flowers For Algernon, seeing the simple Charlie transformed into a Mandarin-speaking super genius after taking an experimental drug. The Thrones boys wrote a very funny episode that was well-received by Sunny fans.
