15. Seth MacFarlane Really Did Narrowly Escape 9/11 (And It Fuelled Conspiracies)

If all the near misses associated with 9/11 were believed, then pretty much every celebrity, past, present and future, almost found themselves wrapped up in the tragedy. It's so shocking to learn so-and-so was almost on one of the planes or in New York that day that often people fail to check validity of such claims. Well in the case of Seth MacFarlane it's all true.

On the morning of 9/11 MacFarlane was booked on American 11, the plane that crashed into the North Tower of the World Trade Center. Late because of a hangover, it's not really out of character at all; this was far from the first plane the animation king had missed. Of course, for some that seemed more than a little convenient, with idiotic suggestions he, along with all of Hollywood it seems, knew about the attacks in advance; just look at the smoke in the above picture, that just has to be hellish foreshadowing.
