The Daleks have established themselves as such a formidable force to be reckoned with that it's hard to image a time where they weren't constantly popping up to annoy the Doctor with their latest Earth dominating scheme. Everyone has to start somewhere, though, and it all began for these persistent pepperpots on a cold winter's night back in December 1963. The rest, as they say, is history.
