What does it indicate? A heart that yearns. Often imitated, usually fabricated; genuine, sizzling chemistry between two actors can be hard to come by, which is why the people swoon when it is discovered, on screen. Desmond and Penny from Lost, Buffy and Spike, Mulder and Scully and, before them all, Dale Cooper and Audrey Horne. Every scene in the entire series that involved these two was pure magic, their seemingly inevitable union derailed by Cooper's (more specifically, MacLachlan's) professionalism. Instead, we're left with the question of what might have been. Apparently, those grapefruits were not freshly squeezed.
