What? An adaptation of Dan Simmons' best-selling novel, The Terror is a fictionalised account of Captain Sir John Franklin's expedition to the Arctic in the 1840s. Not only does the crew have to contend with the elements, but also a monster stalking them.

Why? Mutiny! Cannibalism! Monsters! Jared Harris! There's a lot to be intrigued about here, with the monster aspect turning this into a thrilling tale with horror overtones, as well as a story of human survival and exploration.
