18. The Tenth Doctor Lighting The Olympic Flame For Some Reason
All you need is love according to the Series 2 episode Fear Her in which Doctor Who took a leaf out of The Beatles song book to give viewers a lacklustre story involving a lonely alien who kidnaps innocent people and forces them to be her friends by holding them captive in her drawings. Just when you thought it couldn't get anymore bizarre (and don't even get us started on 'Kookaburra sits in the old gum tree'...), it's all happening on the day of the 2012 Olympics opening ceremony and culminates in the Tenth Doctor lighting the flame for absolutely no apparent reason. He doesn't even let Rose Tyler know that he's OK because he's far too busy hogging the limelight, and shouldn't the world have ended or something when it was actually David Beckham who lit the flame? What? What do you mean Doctor Who isn't real...?!
