5 Reasons Why Family Guy Should Be Cancelled

1. Seth MacFarlane Just Doesn't Care

Macfarlane1 I can forgive MacFarlane for allowing Family Guy to become stale. I can even look the other way when it comes to the laziness of the cut-away gags. Heck, I can probably bring myself to forgive him for killing off Brian. One thing I cannot forgive is the fact he no longer cares anymore. Back in 2011, MacFarlane said he wanted the show to end, and that it should have ended by now.
"Part of me thinks that Family Guy should have already ended. I think seven seasons is about right. "I talk to the fans and in a way I'm kind of secretly hoping for them to say 'we're done with it'. "There are plenty of people who say the show is kind of over the hill, but still the vast majority go pale in the face when I mention the possibility."
If MacFarlane really wants the show to end, then why does he keep peddling out more episodes, and more seasons? For the money, of course, which makes Family Guy little more than a cash-cow. But those udders have been milked dry. On behalf of fans everywhere, Seth - we're done with it.
