While there are six brand new Star Wars TV shows in development - not to mention Obi-Wan Kenobi premiering 27 May and a third season of The Mandalorian on the way - there's literally an infinite scope for future series set in a galaxy far, far away.

Not only is Star Wars Celebration an event used to further hype upcoming projects, it's also a convention that's been used before to make surprise announcements about brand new shows and movies. So, it's not totally unrealistic to think that we could get the reveal of even more series when Celebration rolls around at the end of this month.

If looking at the possibilities for any new offerings, could Hayden Christensen's stints as Darth Vader in Obi-Wan Kenobi and Ahsoka eventually lead to the fallen Anakin's story getting dived into in the character's own show? How about fan favourite Chewbacca and his Wookiee brethren getting to take centre-stage? Maybe finally fans get to see the infamous Grand Admiral Thrawn stepping out into a live-action setting? Likewise, could the story of Star Wars Rebels' Ezra Bridger still have more life to it? Might video game characters like Jedi Fallen Order's Cal Kestis or The Force Unleashed's Starkiller get more time in the sun? And heck, how about revisiting those motherf**king Ewoks down on Endor?

All of the above could easily come to pass when looking at what other Star Wars shows are on the horizon down the line, and here's hoping that Star Wars Celebration 2022 is an event brimming with juicy reveals of plentiful other adventures up in the stars.
