8 Lost Doctor Who Episodes That Should Be Animated Next

This four-part adventure was one of the last strictly historical episodes with the Doctor, Ben, and Polly all facing purely human villains, but there is one thing in particular that stands out about this episode--Jamie Macrimmon. The young Scottish piper made his debut in this episode, and he continued to travel with the Doctor until the latter's regeneration in The War Games, making him one of the longest-serving companions in the show's history.

This was also Patrick Troughton's second episode as the Doctor; with the regeneration jitters finally gone, his Doctor really gets a chance to shine. All four episodes would require animation, but considering the important role this episode plays in the show's history, it would be well worth the effort.
