The Original: Matthew Fox is best known for his work on Lost, but few people know that the supernatural drama wasn't his first foray onto the small screen. That came with 1994's Party Of Five, a teen drama series which follows five siblings after they lose their parents in a car accident.

The show suffered low ratings for its first two seasons (despite positive reviews), but a Golden Globe win saw its popularity soar, and it remained on the air until the year 2000.

The Reboot: Disney-owned network Freeform ordered Party Of Five to pilot in January of this year, and since then, news has been thin on the ground.

The new series is being developed by Chris Keyser and Amy Lippman, the same people behind the original, and will feature a new immigration angle by centring on the Buendias siblings, who have to fend for themselves after their parents are suddenly deported to Mexico.

As a result, none of the original cast is expected to return.

Danny has been with WhatCulture for almost nine years, and is currently Doctor Who Editor and WhoCulture Channel Manager, overseeing all of WhatCulture's Whoniverse coverage. He has been writing and video editing for 10+ years, and first got a taste for content creation after making his own Doctor Who trailers and uploading them to YouTube (they're admittedly a bit rusty by today's standards). If you need someone to recite every Doctor Who episode in order or to tell you about the making of 1988's Remembrance of the Daleks, Danny is the person to ask.
