8 Ways DC Could Actually Save Titans

4. Adapt The Team's Best Stories

The Teen Titans have never been short of iconic storylines, so any adaptation will already be in a relatively strong position. It's easy, of course, to botch that fabled page-to-screen transition, but a better comic ultimately has a better chance of becoming a worthwhile piece of media - live action, or otherwise.

Unfortunately for the Titans, past attempts to translate the source material to a different format haven't always paid dividends. The most recent adaptation of the team's most lauded story - The Judas Contract - resulted in a fairly mediocre animated film, but that shouldn't dissuade Titans from featuring comic book storylines at one point or another.

The aforementioned Judas Contract could easily be translated to the small screen, with its story of betrayal and Deathstroke having already inspired a similar storyline in the 2003 show. Arcs from Geoff Johns' lauded run on the book are also worth adapting, most notably A Kids Game, which released in the wake of the Cartoon Network show's premiere.

There are countless other storylines to look to, whether they be Titans comics or from Young Justice. The trick is lifting the best ones and bringing them all together - something that fans will have to wait and see with this new series.
