4. Celestial Toymaker

Okay, it's rare that a Whovian is ever heard uttering the line 'The Celestial Toymaker should totally be brought back' but along the same vein as the Rani, the Celestial Toymaker is a Doctor Who villian that has never made a second appearance. Last seen on screen in 1966, the Toymaker's episodes are unfortunately part of the missing ones which have yet to be recovered, with only one episode of the story still in existence. The Celestial Toymaker is known for making people take part in games which, if they lose, results in them becoming trapped in his world. He was one of Hartnell's famous foes and if anything it would be interesting, given the comparisons between Capaldi and Hartnell, to see how the Twelfth Doctor would react in that situation. Much like Capaldi's Doctor has shown throughout Series 8, the Celestial Toymaker is not a great loser - he will lie and cheat to attempt to win and trap people so it could be an interesting watch to see how he and Capaldi would fare against each other.
