9 Doctor Who Characters Who Need To Meet The Twelfth Doctor

3. The Fourth Doctor

Tom Baker's Doctor was downright silly. Manic and unpredictable, it was when Doctor Who was at its most comedic and as a result, Baker is often cited as many older fans favourite childhood Doctor. He's arguably the biggest contrast to Capaldi than any of the other ten Doctors so far. There have been some references to Baker throughout Series 8, including a nod to the Doctor's jelly baby fetish in Mummy on the Orient Express and a mention of his iconic scarf in Episode 1, so maybe Twelve has got more of Four running through him than is observable onscreen. Realistically Twelve and Four are completely different personalities and they'd most likely clash if they were ever required to work together. It could be painful to watch, it could be hilarious, but the likelihood is that Four would bring out that lovable grumpiness in Twelve like never before. Gotta love the grumpiness. Besides, if it all got too much for them both they could always just sit down and bond over their jelly babies.
