9. Akela Amador

Last Seen: Being freed from her control by HYDRA and sent away to have a trial under S.H.I.E.L.D. judgment in Season One's "Eye-Spy." Though she only appeared in one episode, Amador proved not only to be a great fighter, but an agent Coulson truly cared and felt responsible for. Like Blake, though, the full HYDRA revelation meant she was swept under the rug, with the outcome of her trial still unclear. With so much change having taken place within S.H.I.E.L.D. since, it would be cool to see her resurface, either as a capable ally of the team working to overcome her lone wolf nature, as a rogue seeking vengeance against HYDRA for what they did to her, or - if the show really wants to retread old ground - having once again unwillingly fallen under HYDRA control.
