2. Alphonso Mackenzie
Who He Is: Alphonso Mackenzie better known as Mack is an engineer who turned field agent to partner with Daisy. His size and skills have made him a valuable contributor. Why He Could Die: Things arent looking too good for Mack. As an engineer, hes admitted that he pales in comparison to Fitz. As a field agent, hes the odd man out in Daisys growing squad of Inhumans. As a man of faith, he makes sense as the person to have Elenas cross necklace on him. His absence wouldnt be felt as an engineer and could possibly be only marginally felt as a field agent. Mack is a great character who has brought both gravitas and humor to Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., but the show and the agency could logically carry on in the long run without him in a way that it could not should it lose others of the death candidates. Why He Might Not: Mack hasnt gotten his shotgun axe yet. Surely he cant die before getting his shotgun axe. Also, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. has developed the habit of giving raw deals to its black characters. The show may want to break that streak with Mack.
