11. The Sandbox
In F.Z.Z.T., Coulson and the gang are meant to be taking recovered Chitauri weapons to the Sandbox, S.H.I.E.L.D.s Moroccan office, which Phil is a little irksome about as theyre apparently difficult to deal with. Theres no Sandbox in the comics, but Morocco is very close to where the fictional African country Wakanda is supposed to lie on Marvels world map, something that could suggest the future introduction of that countrys leader and art-time superhero Black Panther. Whether its just a cheeky nod to Black Panthers existence or the laying of groundwork for future Wakandan-set stories remains to be seen, but itd be amazing to see AoS exploring some of Marvels fictional locales like the aforementioned African state (which happens to be home to the worlds only source of vibranium, the metal Caps shield is made from) or Doctor Dooms home, Latveria though, of course, without Victor himself.
