"Who owns me? I own myself."

Devil's Night is the fourth episode in the Hotel story, and revolves around one sinister night at the Hotel Cortez being hosted by Mr. March and some seriously unsavoury guests. The likes of the Zodiac Killer and John Wayne Gacey are in attendance, however the most shocking of all guests present at the Hotel is undoubtedly Jeffrey Dahmer aka. the Milwaukee Cannibal who murdered, ate and preserved at least seventeen boys and men between 1978 and 1991.

Jeffrey Dahmer and the presence of other sick and twisted killers from history was the first instance of American Horror Story really drawing some of its terror from grounded real life tales, and the coldness exhibited by Dahmer during his admittedly brief time on screen absolutely reeks of a believable psycopath.

His quote: "See, I want to control them. I want to make them mine. Make them part of me. I want to make them a part of me." perfectly captures the heinous nature of Dahmer's psyche and motivations, and he seamlessly slots in as one of the most chilling side baddies AHS have ever produced.
