Brining Lady Gaga into American Horror Story proved to be a perfect creative decision. Gaga starred as the glamorous and bloodthirsty vampire The Countess, who ruled the Hotel Cortez with an iron fist and kept hidden a series of increasingly macabre secrets about her past.
Considering the fact that Hotel remains AHS's most stylish installment to date, Gaga worked wonders with the season's themes and aesthetic, and things wouldn't have been quite as sinister and menacing without her inspired villainous turn.
