American Horror Story: Sarah Paulson's Characters Ranked WORST To BEST
5. Billie Dean Howard (Murder House/Hotel/Apocalypse)
Billie Dean Howard was the first character Sarah Paulson ever portrayed in AHS. Only a guest role in the show's first season, Howard made a big enough impression on audiences that she became a recurring character in the show, appearing not just in Murder House, but also in Hotel and Apocalypse for some brief but welcome guest spots.
A psychic, she spends her appearances in the show attempting to contact people lost in the afterlife. She briefly investigates the Hotel Cortez, hoping to dig into the building's bizarre happenings, and though her visits on the show are often far too fleeting, there's an air of confidence about her and a quality that makes her appear as likeable as she is mysterious.
It wouldn't hurt for future seasons to have a more in-depth look at the psychic and her travels, especially given the fact that she's Paulson's first character, and still remains one of the show's most iconic and recognisable figures.
